Already feeling the aches and pains of aging and want to get rid of them?

Don't feel them yet and never want to?

That's what I do!

My name is Kathryne McCracken, and I started my training in therapeutic massage in 2008. I have a BS from Eastern Oregon University where I devoted my undergraduate research to osteoarthritis and joint replacement therapies, and I gained advanced training in kinesiology and anatomy and physiology. I am currently doing graduate research in “Innovative Aging” at the University of Florida School of Medicine.

As a specialist in Therapeutic Massage, Myofascial Therapy, and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, I apply my advanced education to my treatments. I chose to pursue a graduate degree in “Innovative Aging” because in my 16+ years of experience, I have seen so many of my clients turn back the hands of time through therapeutic bodywork treatments. Not only do they look and feel younger, but they can get back to enjoying their favorite activities and sports. "What we’re learning from research is that aging alone does not cause illness and that growing older does not automatically mean having to live with pain and discomfort." -NIH

Dehydration is a leading cause of premature aging, and those “knots” that you feel in your muscles are areas of dehydration. Myofascial Therapy is the only known treatment that rehydrates those knots. Lymphatic Drainage Massage further helps rehydrate the body as it bolsters the immune system. Most wear-and-tear on the body is caused by everyday activities. Regularly scheduled bodywork treatments are necessary to prevent the wear-and-tear from leading to injury and pain.

“Massage has had a positive effect on every medical condition we've looked at.” -Tiffany Field, PhD Director of the Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
